Connecting Our Ministry into the Future: Building for Today and Tomorrow

Dear PCOB Family,

Think back to the first time you stepped into our sanctuary. Perhaps you noticed the soothing sounds of worship music, the friendly neighbor standing next to you, or the unique history of our church building and ministry. Our historic church building has served us well for many years. But its thick, solid concrete walls make it incredibly tough for modern digital signals to pass through. Yet, behind our walls, a major transformation has just taken place.

If you have walked through our building lately, you may have heard heavy drilling, seen dust flying, and noticed teams hard at work.  We are thrilled to share exactly what all that noise was about. Thanks to your incredible generosity, the Church’s Wi-Fi Network has been completely rewired! Getting internet through solid concrete required weeks of intense planning and weeks of heavy construction. Workers had to carefully drill through thick walls to pull new, modern cables into every corner of the church.

In the past, network wiring only ran through a few main hallways. If you stepped inside a classroom, an office, or a ministry space, the Wi-Fi would drop instantly. Our old network connection wiring could not keep up with modern needs. Now, we will have high-speed internet and reliable Wi-Fi in every single room!

This project is about much more than just faster internet. It is about equipping our ministries to thrive right now. Our kids' ministries can stream educational videos without buffering. Our youth groups can use online games and tools. Our teachers can access digital lessons right from their classrooms, and our staff can work efficiently from any office. We have turned a historic concrete building into a fully connected space for modern ministry. By wiring every single room, we are preparing our church for the future. We are laying the digital foundation to support new ministries, improve our community outreach, and connect with the next generation in ways we never could before, "Building for Today and Tomorrow."
